The man, the myth, the million dollar mullet himself… Midwest singer/songwriter and all around American bad ass BLAKE BANKS is regarded as this generation's most genuine artist. Most recognized for his songs with multi award winning platinum recording artist Post Malone who is featured on his album ‘Shameless’ if not his recent cameo as himself in Shaboozey’s music video for his platinum chart topping hit “Tipsy, A Bar Song”. Fans obsess over Blake’s authentic flavor and unique sound. Climbing steadily from the underground independently over the years only now recently aiming for the Top40 charts and radio play.

Blake has gained fans across the nation touring all over the US with some of music’s top influential artists such as Colt Ford, Ludacris, Mickey Avalon, Moonshine Bandits, Devin the Dude, The Pharcyde, Struggle Jennings, Brantley Gilbert, G-Eazy, Atmosphere, Riff Raff, Rehab, and Ryan Upchurch just to name a few in recent years. Playing everywhere across America from honky tonks, to saloons, theaters, casinos, festivals, to expos… just about any type of music venue or event you could think of, he’s played it. His music has reached international fans world wide so Blake stays passport ready.

Life on the road is nothing new for Banks who grew up touring with rap and hip hop groups throughout the midwest with trending artists in his teenage years. By the age of 16 Blake was performing coast to coast nationally and internationally in South Korea and other countries. Blake packed up and left the Midwest in his early 20’s dropping out of college pursuing a BA in marketing to follow his passion for music, realizing early on in his youth that he was all in when it comes to developing his talents.

Born on March 2nd 1990 in Davenport, Iowa, Blake grew up along the shores of the Mississippi River where Illinois and Iowa kiss. Growing up listening to artists like Master P, Blake had a desire early on to be a “hip hop backpack rapper” which inspired him to grab the nearest computer and start recording himself. By 2002 at the age of 12 Blake found himself in the studio recording full length songs. When it came time for him to get a job in high school he worked for a local record store where he would shrink wrap his own albums and stick them on the shelf right next to chart topping artists and hot selling albums of the week. Blake’s intuition to to start packaging his own CD’s and booking his own shows has been the single driving force behind his established success.

Calling the Midwest his home base in his early years, he had lived everywhere of mention between the QuadCities and Chicago. In 2012 Blake played his first show in Los Angeles, California. It was sometime after that in 2015 that he realized he had been playing so many shows all over the US it was time to make a major career move, so he packed up his car and headed out west to LA permanently with the clothes on and his laptop in his backpack. Strategically placing himself in the middle of multiple opportunities.

Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don’t recognize them. Luckily, Blake has never been afraid of a little or a lot of hard work. Energized by the fraise his grandmother often repeated to him, “if it’s meant to be it’s up to me”. It was then and there where perseverance meets persistance that he found himself in the Hollywood hills working with Post Malone in the studio on his Album “Shameless”. Blake went on to release back to back albums from 2015-2018, including “The Bachelor Vol.1” + “The Bachelor Vol.2” and “Field of Dreams”. In 2019 Blake ushered in a new creative era of music which significantly amped up touring by 2020.

With the release of his hit singe “BLU”, Blake Banks gave the world a huge increase in content. Systematically releasing catchy singles like “Dance on My Grave” followed up by music videos with micro content promotion. Creating eyegasming visualizers that can be found streaming across YouTube and gaining notoriety with your favorite publications, podcasts, and online blogs such as Lyrical Lemonade. There are dynamic visuals for 13 of the 17 songs featured on Blake Banks 2022 album titled “Risky Business” which has accumulated millions of views and streams. This album uniquely showcase his soulful sound that he has developed over the years side by side with his in house engineer, The Ambulance Factory.

The King of Outlaw Music blends Rock, Country, and Blues together in a very unique Pop/ Hip Hop way, all while simultaneously layering his own homegrown Soulful lyrics straight from his heart with a Rap style that pays tribute to his classic ’90s style roots. It’s his distinct alternative sound that has accumulated hundreds of millions of streams over the past few years. The unsigned independent artist has more new music up his sleeves which he has been releasing freely while on tour creating a demand for his next album, TBA.

There will be no short supply of music or video coverage as he releases BTS tour recap videos, vlogs, live feeds, new merch, and multiple forms of micro promo content that will dive deeper into the personal life of Blake Banks. If you are a lover of music, Blake is known for leaking his unreleased hits on the road with his female DJ backing him up on vocals. His show is one you don’t want to miss, arguably “better in person” with his heartfelt moments, jokes, and personal stories he shares between songs. Once he steps on stage you know this ain’t your average rodeo, it’s a Blake Banks party. Everyone in the house is guaranteed to participate in having a genuinely good time. Be sure to keep an eye on your calendar as Blake makes his way to a city near you.
